Take a mixture of travel funds
Partner of Everything4Travel, John Bavister, advises travellers to take a mixture of travel funds - cash, travellers cheques, Travellers Cheque Card, credit cards, debit cards.
"No single form of payment is universally accepted around the world" explains John, "so it's best to have a modest amount of cash for immediate use on taxis, bars, cafes etc, then make larger payments using travellers cheques, or use the NEW American Express Travellers Cheque Card available from Everything4Travel."
